Gus Kubicek (Steve Guttenberg) is an overweight,
bald, cartoonist who has recently overcome cancer.
A lonely sole, Gus's sister, Lizzie (Shelly Long) is
determined to set him up with a good woman.
Before she can find his soul mate, Lizzie decides
she must first make him over as the perfect
boyfriend- enter the boyfriend school.
As Gus reluctantly agrees, he curiously takes on the
character of a mysterious biker from New Zealand in
an effort to attract the beautiful Emily, played by
Jami Gertz.
The Boyfriend School movie is also known as
Don't Tell Her It's Me.
